Painting Happy Accidents
Connecting with our creative side is one of life’s joys. At Prescriptive Data we recently had the opportunity to let our inner artist shine. The team organized a paint-and-sip happy hour, inviting anyone who wanted to join. Remote team members were sent a canvas and paint to follow along at home while a full-on art class was set up at PD HQ. Making time to check in with each other and have some fun is key to promoting and maintaining a sustainable work culture that prevents burnout.
Some members chose to paint their iteration of the cherry blossom tree while others followed their own unique inspiration. They all turned out fantastic. We were reminded of painter Bob Ross’ famous line; there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. Special shoutout to our talented instructor Jean who guided us through the process and helped us unleash our inner artists!
