Ukrainian Village Tour

In the wake of the tragic invasion of Ukraine, Prescriptive Data came together to provide support. A Ukrainian native working at PD, Gennadii, organized a team tour of the Ukrainian Village in east Manhattan. Gennadii shared a short history of Ukraine, telling team members of Taras Shevchenko, regarded as the foundation of Ukrainian literature. Known as the ‘Soul of Ukraine,’ a portrait of Shevchenko adorns most traditional Ukrainian restaurants, Gennadii explained. At the end of the tour, PD’s Fine Dining club, which helped organize the trip, ate at Veselka, where some team members tried borscht and pierogies. A good meal sharing stories from home with friends always helps but is especially needed in trying times.
