When the workday is over, some members of the Prescriptive Data team love to go fast. A group of Formula 1 superfans came together to use some of PD’s prize money from the REBNY 2020 PropTech Challenge to build out a full racing simulator worthy of a pro driver. An Xbox Series X connected to ultrawide-monitor power the simulator, immersing players using a racing seat, pedals, and life-like wheel in breakneck racing action. The setup also features a Fanatec Podium Racing wheel, one of the most high-end racing wheels on the market, using an internal motor that allows users to experience the full force of feedback while racing. While favorites F1 2020 and Forza Horizon 5 can be played online, the team prefers to compete against each others’ lap times. Do you have what it takes to compete?
