NYSERDA

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and support to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. A public benefit corporation, NYSERDA has been advancing energy solutions and working to protect the environment since 1975.

Prescriptive Data is a qualified vendor for the authority’s new Real-Time Energy Management + Tenants (RTEM + Tenants) program. As a $25-million incentive program, NYSERDA’s RTEM + Tenants’ initiative is designed to promote the comprehensive monitoring and management of commercial office buildings' energy, electricity demand, and carbon footprint. A RTEM system helps building owners learn how their property is performing in real-time, detect equipment faults, and uncover opportunities to optimize energy use. RTEM systems collect and monitor building system performance data in real-time. By connecting to a new or existing building and energy monitoring system, RTEM platforms pull data from a network consisting of meters, sensors, and controls. Data is then delivered to a central location analyzed in the cloud, identifying optimization opportunities that can significantly reduce energy expenditure.
